Universitas Airlangga Cooperative Study Group (Kopsi) is a student organization engaged in the development of collective entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and characteristics based on cooperative principles. Kopsi is committed to organizing various educational and applicative activities that are able to broaden their horizons and form a mentality of cooperatives among students.
In supporting this mission, Kopsi Universitas Airlangga consistently integrated the theoretical approach obtained through literature studies and discussion forums with a practical approach through direct observation of cooperative activities that have been running significantly. One form of concrete implementation of the approach is the implementation of field visits to active cooperatives that are relevant to the field of study and interest in Kopsi members. The "Cooperative I visit" activity is a work program of the Public Relations Division (Humas). Universitas Airlangga
Cooperative Study Group to the Cooperative Loyal Consumers Bhakti Wanita (SBW) on May 23, 2025. The activities carried out on this cooperative visit will focus on the deepening of professional cooperative management practices through the material exposure session by the Management of the Setia Bhakti Wanita Consumers (SBW). In addition, there is a discussion session that discusses various important aspects in the management of cooperatives such as AD/ART, organizational structure, revitalization, and management of member savings.
The "Cooperative I visit" activity is in line with the achievement of the Fifth Point Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely Gender Equality (Gender Equality), because in our visit we can study the role of cooperatives in increasing women's economic participation, providing access to productive resources, and supporting equality of rights in the economic sector. And this activity is also in harmony with the 8th point, namely the decent work and economic growth (decent work and economic growth), because in this visit can discuss the way cooperatives increase MSME productivity, create decent jobs, and strengthen the local economy through the principle of mutual cooperation.
