The comparative study is one of the work programs of the Public Relations Division of the FEB Universitas AirlanggaStudent Cooperative. The comparative study between the FEB Universitas Airlangga Student Cooperative and the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Student Cooperative (Kopma dr. Angka ITS) was carried out with the aim of increasing insight and knowledge regarding new things regarding better and more interesting cooperatives, which have never been implemented in Kopma FEB Unair. In addition, this activity can also be a means of evaluation for the development of performance between cooperatives in order to become better cooperatives in the future. This comparative study was held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, offline at Universitas Airlangga.
One of the main focuses of this comparative study was the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 9. Both cooperatives discussed how technology and innovation can be adopted to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cooperative management. The FEB Universitas Airlangga Student Cooperative and Kopma dr. Angka ITS explored the use of digital systems for management and marketing, which can help improve cooperative performance and support the development of more modern infrastructure. By utilizing the latest technology, cooperatives can increase competitiveness and provide better services to their members. In addition, the implementation of SDG 17 was also an important agenda in this comparative study. Both cooperatives built a strong partnership to learn from each other and grow together. This comparative study itself is a concrete example of effective collaboration, where the FEB Universitas Airlangga Student Cooperative and Kopma dr. Angka ITS exchanged experiences and knowledge to improve the performance of each cooperative. By strengthening networks and collaboration, the two cooperatives can create positive synergies, open opportunities for future collaboration, and jointly contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
It is hoped that after this activity, Kopma FEB Unair can strengthen its good relationship and collaboration with Kopma dr. Angka ITS and be able to apply the new insights gained to the cooperative's future progress. This comparative study not only provides direct benefits for both cooperatives but also demonstrates their commitment to supporting the achievement of the SDGs through innovation and strategic partnerships.
