HIMA S3 Management Science FEB UNAIR Holds Workshop on Using SCOPUS AI: Encouraging Digital Innovation for Quality Education
Surabaya, April 30, 2025 — In an effort to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4: Quality Education, the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) together with the Association of Doctoral Students of Management Science (HIMA S3 DIM) UNAIR held Workshop Series 1: Using SCOPUS AI online via Zoom.
This workshop carried the theme: “Utilization of Scopus AI and the best prompts to Accelerate Research and Scientific Publication”, which aims to improve digital literacy and research capabilities of the academic community, especially doctoral students and researchers in the field of management.
This activity presented Prof. Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto, CI., CDM., QCRO., AIBIZ., CCC, Head of the Department of Management FEB UNAIR, as the keynote speaker. With a deep understanding of technological innovation and scientific publication, Prof. Gancar shared strategies for utilizing AI in Scopus to accelerate the process of writing and publication in reputable journals.
Meanwhile, the workshop was moderated by Nur Endah Ramayanti, a doctoral student in Management Science at UNAIR, who also provided practical perspectives on the use of AI technology among young academics.
This activity is open to the public with free registration, and provides optional e-certificates for participants. This workshop is not only a learning platform, but also a tangible form of UNAIR's contribution in expanding access to inclusive, quality, and technology-based higher education, in line with the global commitment to SDG 4.
