The Student Association (HIMA) of the Doctoral Program in Economics Universitas Airlangga once again held the Scopus Coaching Vol. 2 activity, an intensive training session designed to improve the scientific publication skills of doctoral students.
This activity will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 08.30–12.00 WIB, located in Room 602, 6th Floor, Main Building of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga .
As the main speaker, present is Dr. Miguel Angel Esquivias Padilla, IE, M.SE, a lecturer in Economics Universitas Airlangga who is widely known for his research experience and publications in various reputable international journals.
In this session, participants will be guided to:
- Strategically map target publication journals,
- Develop an effective introductory structure,
- Formulate strong research questions and novelty statements, and
- Conduct submission simulations and practice responding to reviewer comments.
This event is free for Universitas Airlanggadoctoral students in Economics, while general participants are charged Rp 100,000. Due to limited space, the committee is only allowing 30 participants to ensure the training's effectiveness.
Through this agenda, the HIMA Doctoral Program in Economics hopes to help participants strengthen their readiness for publication in internationally reputable journals, while also supporting a culture of productive and integrated research in the academic environment Universitas Airlangga.
