The Student Association of the Master of Science in Management (HIMA) holds a Research Series program aimed at enhancing students' research capacity. This three-part program is designed to provide comprehensive, practical training in research methods, publication systematics, and statistical data processing. This program is scheduled to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
The first series, titled "Mastering Systematic Literature Review (SLR), introduces students to non-empirical research methodologies, focusing on the systematic collection and analysis of scientific literature. In this session, students not only gain a theoretical understanding of SLR but also engage in practical application of the method. This process includes systematic steps such as literature screening, critical analysis, and the preparation of a comprehensive literature review.
The second series, titled "Mastering Systematic Literature Review 2.0," is a continuation of the first series. In this series, students are expected to understand the basics of SLR and be better prepared to begin the publication process of their scientific papers. Monitoring the results of the first session's practical work will be the focus of discussions in this series, to ensure students are ready to move on to the publication stage.
Meanwhile, the third series focuses on the use of statistical software in research. This series is designed to assist students experiencing difficulties processing data related to their theses or other scientific work. With a practical approach, this series will offer concrete solutions to technical issues that frequently arise during data processing.
The Research Series program will feature expert speakers with in-depth experience in their fields, including expertise in research methodology. Thus, the program not only prepares students academically but also strengthens their contribution to achieving the SDGs through high-quality research.
It is hoped that this program will continue to provide opportunities for more students to develop their research skills. Furthermore, its continued existence will strengthen the research community on campus and support efforts to develop outstanding researchers prepared to face global challenges.
