activity, initiated by the Master of Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga (HIMA MIE UNAIR), is part of an effort to improve the capacity of spatial data analysis among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . In an era where data and statistical analysis are increasingly becoming an important part of socio-economic research, the ability to use software such as Stata is very essential. This training provides insights and practical skills for students in utilizing Stata to analyze spatial data, a competency that is highly needed in modern socio-economic research.
Participants in this training are not only introduced to the basics of using Stata, but are also given advanced techniques that can be used to process spatial data in the context of socio-economic research. The main speaker, Mohammad Rofiuddin, M.Si., a lecturer at the State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga, will guide participants to understand the various functions and features of Stata that can be applied in their research. This activity will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 09.00 WIB - Finish, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga .
The success of this activity is measured by the increasing understanding and skills of participants in using Stata for spatial data analysis, as well as their ability to apply the knowledge gained in socio-economic research. In addition, success is also seen from the high enthusiasm and active participation of students who attended.
More than just sharing knowledge, this activity is also a form of contribution from the Master of Economics Student Association (HIMA UNAIR) in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in SDG 4: Quality Education by providing opportunities for students to deepen data analysis skills that will support quality research in the socio-economic field.
