National Business Case Competition (NBCC) is an annual prestigious competition managed by HIMA S1 Management Universitas Airlangga and is part of the Expo Management Sub -Event (MEXPO). This competition aims to encourage the analysis and critical thinking skills of Indonesian students in producing innovative and creative solutions in solving a business case in the company. NBCC in 2025 took the theme "Driving Innovation: Discovering Opportunity to Encourage ESG Strategy in Developing Business Sustainability" which focuses on implementing ESG aspects in building sustainable businesses.
The National Business Case Competition 2025 highlights 4 SDGs points, namely 4th point (Quality Education), 8 (Dent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Point 4 or Quality Education is shown from how the NBCC 2025 event encourages students to think critically and creatively to solve a problem. Quality education is characterized by the mindset of intelligent students and also good problem solving abilities.
The 8th point or decent work and economic growth is shown from how the NBCC 2025 event accommodates all students' creative solutions or ideas in overcoming a business problem and maintaining a sustainable business. Sustainable business is one of the keys to encouraging economic growth and appropriate work for the community. Students are also expected to increase their productivity in producing new ideas that have the potential to increase global economic growth.
The 9th point or industry, innovation, and infrastructure are shown mainly from the NBCC theme that was carried this year. NBCC 2025 emphasizes the importance of industrialization which is not only oriented to the company's economic growth, but also in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects. NBCC 2025 also emphasizes creative innovations that are the key to increasing the effectiveness of the company and building quality and sustainable infrastructure.
12 points or responsible consumption and production are shown from the NBCC 2025 which emphasizes the use of ESG strategies in the company's production and consumption process. NBCC 2025 encourages students to find creative innovations in building sustainable companies by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of productivity but still concerned with the company's responsibilities towards ESG aspects.
NBCC 2025 consists of a series of pre -event in the form of national webinar and break the case!
