Calling For Tenants

FDEB Unair tenantEntrepreneurship or entrepreneurship is the process of identifying, developing, and bringing a vision to life. This vision can be an innovative idea, an opportunity, or a better way of doing things. In an effort to encourage and foster an entrepreneurial spirit and provide a forum and opportunity for creativity and direct promotion of student businesses, the Business Department of the Student Association of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, FEB UNAIR, created the Lapak Management program, commonly known as M-Lapak. The M-Lapak program is a profound effort to encourage the growth and development of student potential in the world of entrepreneurship. By holding a bazaar, HIMA provides an inclusive platform for students to express their creativity and innovation in creating unique and attractive products or services for the market. In addition to being a means for selling, the bazaar also serves as a forum for sharing knowledge, experience, and skills among students interested in the world of business. Through interactions that occur during the bazaar, students can learn about marketing strategies, operational management, and business negotiations directly, enriching their experiences outside the classroom. Not only is the bazaar a learning opportunity, but it also has a broad impact on social and economic aspects. Revenue generated from booth sales is not only used to fund HIMA activities and programs but also positively contributes to the individual student economy. The bazaar also serves as a platform to introduce local products and promote small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) around campus, supporting local economic growth and strengthening student-community relationships. Furthermore, the bazaar provides an opportunity to expand networks and build partnerships with various parties, including local businesses, companies, and the surrounding community. Through these collaborations, students can broaden their business horizons, gain internship or work opportunities, and develop collaborative projects that have the potential to positively impact the wider community. Thus, the M-Lapak work program is a crucial instrument in building a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem among students.

The M-Lapak work program organized by the Business Department of the Student Association of the Undergraduate Program in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) not only supports the development of student entrepreneurship but can also be linked to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One of the SDGs relevant to this activity is SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. M-Lapak contributes to SDG 8 by encouraging economic growth among students and local communities. Through this bazaar, students learn to create jobs and run small businesses, which can ultimately provide employment opportunities for others in the future. This aspect is very important in creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is not only profit-oriented but also contributes to the welfare of the wider community. Organizing a bazaar can be a concrete step in integrating SDG principles into students' academic and entrepreneurial lives.
