Self-branding is now a necessity for individuals in the Industry 4.0 era. There's a growing demand for creativity, which can create a strong brand. This is because how we are perceived depends on how we brand ourselves to others. Critical skills in self-branding include creative thinking and communication skills.
In this case, self-branding requires training or an understanding of what it is. Someone who can brand themselves well will be viewed favorably by others. Conversely, if someone fails to create an impression through their self-branding, they will be judged less favorably. Therefore, training and expert materials are needed to address the challenges faced in self-branding
The Branding Class, an activity of the Undergraduate Management Student Association (HIMA) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga aims to help individuals develop their self-branding skills through engaging speakers and a series of events themed "Build Your Personal Values for a Career Path." The 2022 Branding Class will be held on July 16, 2022, via Zoom.
The primary objective of Branding Class is to achieve the sustainable development target of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 4, which is to improve the quality of education. Improving education for Indonesians will improve the quality of human resource development in Indonesia.
