In 2023, the Student Association of Undergraduate Management (HIMA S1 Management) Universitas Airlangga held an "Alumni Meet Up" event for active students of the Undergraduate Management study program Universitas Airlangga. The Alumni Meet Up event aims to increase motivation and job outlook for Undergraduate Management students Universitas Airlangga and to foster relationships between students and alumni. This year, the Alumni Meet Up will carry the theme "Plan your career: Passion or Salary" which will discuss how alumni can determine their career choices when entering the career world. The 2023 Alumni Meet Up event invited 2 speakers who are in accordance with the theme so that they are expected to share their experiences on how to choose the right career to Undergraduate Management students Universitas Airlangga who are currently pursuing their education.
The 2023 Alumni Meet Up is related to SDGs number 4, namely quality education. In addition to being agents of change, the younger generation must also be able to become agents of producers who are able to create real change. Therefore, students must have a vision and plan to achieve their future goals, especially the career path they will aim for to make a change for the better. With alumni who have been successful in their respective fields, this proves that a quality generation has been born from Universitas AirlanggaUndergraduate Management Study Program. Therefore, the 2023 Alumni Meet Up will invite two successful alumni Universitas Airlangga Undergraduate Management to provide a platform and learning opportunities for students who will follow in their footsteps to become a quality generation of Universitas Airlangga Undergraduate Management and can achieve the desired success. This event will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 6:00 PM WIB in the KRT Fadjar Notonegoro Hall.
The speakers at the 2023 Alumni Meet Up were Early Antarest and Dewi Indah Setyorini. The first speaker at the 2023 Alumni Meet Up, Early Antarest, is a 2012 graduate of the Management Study Program Universitas Airlangga and currently works at PT. DayaLima Abisatya as a Client Account Manager. Early Antarest also has various achievements, starting from the High Achiever nomination for successfully running the project expansion for the East Indonesia Branch and Employer Branding (English First) in 2017 and High Achiever Local Consultant Publishing and Finishing Project Expansion (EAWG) in 2019.
The second speaker at the 2023 Alumni Meet Up was Dewi Indah Setyorini, a 2011 Universitas Airlangga Management graduate. She is the owner of Chili Mie Noodle Bar and the chief operating officer at Pawon Cabe Resto. Chili Mie Noodle Bar is a food and beverage business that offers a variety of noodle dishes at affordable prices. Located in Gresik, specifically at Jalan Kalimantan 163 GKB, Gresik, the restaurant is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM WIB.
