The Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga will hold the STATA 2025 Training activity facilitated by the Department of Science as a form of academic capacity development for students in the field of research and data analysis. This activity aims to equip participants, especially Economics students, with technical skills in processing and analyzing complex data using STATA software. Through this training, participants will learn various data processing techniques, statistical analysis, and visualization of results in a practical and applicable manner. With a case study-based approach and hands-on exercises, this training provides concrete experience in applying STATA to support the preparation of final assignments and theses, especially for final-year students who take quantitative research methods.
The STATA 2025 training contributes to the achievement of SDGs Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing access to relevant statistics and data processing training to support students' academic process, especially in preparing theses. This activity also supports Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by improving technical skills needed in the world of work, such as applicable data analysis skills.
This activity will be held online via Zoom Meeting on May 17-18, 2025, and is open to all students from various universities. The series of activities includes an introduction to STATA software, practical data processing and analysis, and interactive discussions regarding its use in thesis writing. The success indicator for this activity is if more than 88% of participants actively participate in the training and demonstrate increased understanding based on the results of the pre- and post-tests given.
