The Student Association of Development Economics, Universitas Airlangga is holding an Entrepreneurship Class, facilitated by the Department of Entrepreneurship. This class will provide materials, guidance, and support to current EP students in planning and developing business plans. Through this activity, it is hoped that all participants will be able to create and develop structured and in-depth business plans through a series of activities.
The implementation of the Entrepreneurship Class is a very important initiative in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) 8, namely "Decent Work and Economic Growth". This activity not only provides knowledge about entrepreneurship to participants, but also provides intensive assistance in developing sustainable business plans. Through business plan mentoring, participants are invited to understand concrete steps in designing a business that is not only financially profitable, but also has a positive impact on the community and the surrounding environment, in line with the principles of sustainable development.
The target of this activity is all active class of Development Economics students. This event is held for 3 weeks on every weekend, namely Saturday on May 11, 18, 25, 2024, which took place at the Tirto Hall. The implementation of the Entrepreneurship Class includes a session of material presentation and sharing of mentor experiences related to business plans, a pre-test, and finally a presentation by the participants. The indicator of the success of this Entrepreneurship Class is as many as 3 groups of active class EP students.
