I. Economic Olympiad 22th
Student Economics Association is one of the student organizations of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga which is a forum for students to develop their potential, both in the academic and non-academic fields. By prioritizing family values, professionalism, and integrity based on science, Hima Ie Universitas Airlangga is expected to be able and will continue to develop themselves the best contribution in supporting the progress of students of economics. The Economic Olympiad (OE) is a work program organized by Hima IE Universitas Airlangga in order to test the ability/knowledge in the field of economics and train the spirit of competing high school/equivalent students who are also intended to introduce the Department of Economics, Universitas Airlangga .

II. Description of the Economic Olympiad Theme
"Empowering The Young Economist: Fostering Public Welfare and Sustainable Growth in Shaping a Better Future"
Indonesia is faced with a variety of crucial challenges in the economic field, ranging from the issue of tax optimization, the efficiency of state budget management, to the challenges of equitable and sustainable infrastructure. Departing from this reality, the 22nd Economic Olympiad raised the theme "Empowering the Young Economist: Fostering Public Welfare and Sustainable Growth in Shaping a Better Future" as a forum for educating and empowering the younger generation in understanding the important role of economics in people's lives. In facing the challenges of economic development and the welfare of the community, the younger generation is expected to be an agent of change that thinks critically, solutively, and innovatively. Through this Olympics, students from various regions in Indonesia will be encouraged to become young economists who are not only academically superior, but also have social awareness and concern for national development. This Olympics is not only a place for competition, but also the learning space and collaboration to print agents of change that are ready to contribute in creating a more just and more prosperous future.
This Olympic activity supports the achievement of several main points in the Sustainable Development Purpose (SDGs):
● SDG 4 (Quality Education)
This Olympics provides access to quality economic education to the younger generation from various backgrounds. This Olympiad is a learning tool that fosters the ability to think analytically, economic logic, and understanding of complex development issues is an important contribution in creating a more knowledgeable and capable society facing global challenges.
● SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth)
by instilling entrepreneurial spirit, increasing awareness of the importance of an inclusive economy, and encouraging the development of skills that are relevant to the needs of the world of work. The participants were not only invited to understand economic theory, but were also encouraged to formulate solutions to real economic problems, so as to foster a commitment to contribute to fair and sustainable economic growth.
● SDG 17 (Partnership to achieve goals)
This Olympic activity reflects a real form of collaboration between various parties, with the aim of expanding access to economic education, developing the capacity of the younger generation, and inviting them to play an active role in the development agenda.

III. Objectives and Objectives of Activities
● Objectives:

1. Providing an event for high school/equivalent students to be able to hone the abilities they have gotten from school or from outside school.
2. Introducing the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga to high school students and equivalent so that it is expected to be an option in continuing education at the tertiary level.
3. Carry out an annual work program from the Universitas Airlangga Economics Student Association in Surabaya in its work program for the 2025 period.

● Targets:
The target of the 22th Economic Olympiad activity is high school students and equivalent who are interested and active in economic subjects and want to develop knowledge in the economic field.
