COMDEV (Community Development ) is a form of community development activity that aims to achieve better socio-economic-cultural conditions compared to before this activity, especially independence in managing the abundant natural resources in the area. And the village we will visit is Seloliman Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency with its four hamlets, namely Biting Hamlet, Sempur Hamlet, Balekambang Hamlet, and Janjing Hamlet.

Seloliman Village has diverse biodiversity, superior natural resources that differ in each hamlet, distribution and marketing aspects are the main problems, information lag in the city, a large population disparity, and high social inequality in the area, so the HIMA Development Economics Universitas Airlangga held Community Development for the third year. The Community Development of Development Economics Universitas Airlangga focuses on five aspects that will be upheld, namely entertaining (entertainment events such as providing knowledge and teaching children who are still in school) , programming (Ginger extract counseling program, environmental cleanliness, and training to form a joint village business, and assisting with business licensing issues) , revaluation (improving and increasing business quality) , sustaining (implementing sustainable programs).

COMDEV 2018 focused on providing PIRT business licensing assistance for the Seloliman village community, one of which was Mrs. Juwanik with a product in the form of ginger extract powder. In addition, the COMDEV Committee also helped to design the packaging of Mrs. Juwanik's product. In various departures, the COMDEV committee carried out several treatments to the Seloliman Village community which included: March survey , April Health socialization and free health checks, May Livestock and Business Socialization, and September PIRT registration process and Environmental Love Learning Activities with the children of SDN Seloliman, and at the closing in November there was a Happy Sharing event (distributing donations of books, bags, shoes) at SDN Seloliman ending with a post-Isha prayer recitation and Thanksgiving with the residents. From the various treatments that have been applied to the Seloliman village community, so that they have better living habits, and the spirit of awareness of the environment and business is increased. It is hoped that the community can achieve better welfare than before.
