Narrative of the Sriwijaya Accounting Competition 

The 2020 Sriwijaya Accounting Olympiad activity was organized by the Indonesian Accounting Association  

Accounting Students of Sriwijaya University (IMA Unsri). Previously, a preliminary round was held on October 3, 2020. Universitas Airlangga qualified four teams, namely, Team Vicidi, Team BUL, Team Akuntanskuy, and Team Aset. These four teams were entitled to advance to the main round. On October 25, 2020, a technical meeting was held online, all teams listened carefully to the committee's rules and asked anything unclear. Then, on October 26, 2020, the preliminary round was held consisting of a kahoot round where participants worked individually at 09.00 - 09.45 WIB. Then continued with a crossword puzzle round worked as a team. At 11.00 WIB the announcement was distributed through the IMA Unsri Instagram account and Universitas Airlangga qualified two teams. The next day continued with the semifinal round which began with an essay round at 11.15 - 12.20 WIB, the work was done as a team and each team worked on essay-style questions. Then the participants were invited to take a break and at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM WIB continued the Avatar round where participants were entitled to choose cards containing avatar elements, each element getting the same points. After completing the avatar round, participants were invited to take a break and at 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM continued the find the joker round which had a similar concept to the avatar round, but in this round each team had to risk their points every time they answered the chosen question. The announcement in the semifinal round was made at 7:00 PM WIB through the IMA Unsri social media account. Six teams were selected to compete in the final round, Universitas Airlangga qualified one team to the final round. The final round was held on October 27, 2020, which began with presentations from each team followed by a question and answer session. The closing was held on the same day at 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM WIB.
