The Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) is one of a series of accounting olympiad events held by Yogyakarta State University. The Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) is an accounting competition between students from various universities in Indonesia organized by the Undergraduate Program in Accounting Education at Yogyakarta State University. This year, the SAC 2020 theme is "Developing Fintech to Face the Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Role of Accountants in the Society 5.0 Era through the 2020 Accounting Quiz Competition." This competition aims to hone knowledge and increase participants' interest in accounting and prepare them to be ready to compete globally. The SAC 2020 was held on October 23-24, 2020, through the online platform Zoom. The SAC 2020 competition consisted of 3 rounds: the main round, semifinals, and finals. The cum laude team successfully qualified for the main round, which selected the 25 best teams with work scores in the main round. However, during the semifinal round, the cum laude team could not make it to the final round because of the 25 teams that passed the semifinal round, only 5 teams managed to make it to the final round of SAC 2020 held by Yogyakarta State University.
