INDONESIAN ACCOUNTANTS ASSOCIATION ACCOUNTANTS EDUCATOR COMPARTMENT

The Regional Accounting Conference (KRA) is an event organized by the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI KAPd), in collaboration with several universities in Indonesia. The goal is to provide a forum for academics and practitioners to conduct and discuss empirical and practical studies in the accounting discipline. These studies are conducted in order to maintain connectivity between the academic and professional worlds with emerging and developing practices and current issues in the accounting field. The KRA is held annually through mutual cooperation by universities in East Java.

KRA VI 2019 was held with the theme: Disruption of Industrial Accounting: “Let’s Account One Guts” Welcoming the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This event took place on Wednesday – Thursday, April 24 – 25, 2019 at STIESIA Surabaya.

The delegation participants of the 6th Regional Accounting Conference (KRA) were six students, namely Zakiyyah Riris Merbaka (Accounting 2014), Linda Suci Alfiyanti (Accounting 2013), Arika Kamelia (Accounting 2014), Chaela Rachmawati (Accounting 2014), Elshabyta Auditya Bintarto (Accounting 2015), and Riata Dheasita Safira (Accounting 2016).

At the end of the event, the 20 best papers were selected from all the papers presented at the 6th KRA. Four Universitas Airlangga delegates were awarded the top 20 papers: Zakiyyah, Linda, Arika, and Chaela.
