IX 2018 UGM National Corruption Free Economy Student Conference, Yogyakarta
The National Student Conference is a meeting of students from all over Indonesia to discuss and convey ideas related to efforts to eradicate corporate corruption in the private sector. This year, the KMN EBK IX carries the theme "Investigating the Traces of Corporate Corruption in Its Impact on the Indonesian Economy". The National Student Conference is one of a series of events for the 9th EBK (Corruption-Free Economy) which consists of a national-level student paper or scientific writing competition, group discussions, and field trips. EBK is organized by BEM FEB (Faculty of Economics and Business) Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta, by presenting the 9th EBK talk show with the theme "Revealing the Veil and Trapping the Private Sector Mafia".
The EBK agenda consists of paper competitions, group discussions, and field trips. The initial selection of the paper competition is the collection of paper abstracts, for the 20 best abstract teams that have passed the abstract collection stage can participate in the paper presentation and group discussion agenda of KMN EBK IX at UGM Yogyakarta on November 1 & 2, 2018 and on October 31, 2018 a Technical Meeting was held for the KMN EBK IX event which was attended by all competition participants.
The Anti-corruption Talkshow agenda was held on November 3, 2018, the Anti-corruption Talkshow is a discussion with experts on private sector corporate corruption. The talkshow series consists of an Ebk Talk session, an interactive session with speakers, and a question and answer session. At the end of the Talkshow, the winners of the EBK agenda for the paper competition and group discussion were announced as 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, best delegate 1, and best delegate 2.
The Anti-Corruption Concert or Corruption-Free Economy Concert is the closing event of the 9th Corruption-Free Economy. The EBK Concert aims to raise public awareness, particularly among education stakeholders, of anti-corruption values through artistic performances. The event will feature Yogyakarta and national musicians, each featuring anti-corruption messages. The EBK Concert also facilitates photography, painting, or mural artwork as a platform to showcase and promote the anti-corruption spirit, embodied in exhibitions and venue decorations. The performances and artworks are created by high school students, university students, and communities, who are the closest young generation as the nation's future generations. The EBK Concert will be opened by local Yogyakarta musicians with inspiring works, such as Sungai and Ruban di Selatan. The peak night of the EBK Concert will close with performances by National Guest Stars Naif and HIVI!, who will also inflame the anti-corruption spirit. This concert was held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Gadjah Mada University.
