ASA Festival 2020

The Prasetiya Mulya Accounting Festival (PMAF) is one of the 2020 ASA Festival series of events held by Prasetiya Mulya University. The Prasetiya Mulya Accounting Festival (PMAF) is an accounting competition between students from various universities in Indonesia, organized by the Prasetiya Mulya University Accounting Undergraduate Program. This year, the 2020 ASA Festival carries the theme "Facing Revolution - One Step Forward". This competition aims to hone knowledge and increase participants' interest in accounting and prepare them to be ready to compete globally. The 2020 PMAF ASA Festival was held on September 11-12, 2020, through several online platforms such as Google Classroom, Google Meets, Zoom, and LIVE Youtube. The 2020 PMAF ASA Festival competition consists of 3 rounds: the main round, semifinals, and finals. In the main round, each participant must pass the Theoretical Thinking and Betting Game stages. In both stages, each team must work on accounting-related questions in order to proceed to the next round. After going through the main round, only 12 teams were able to proceed to the next round, namely the semifinals. In the semifinals, all teams had to go through the Escape Room stage. Then at the end of the round, only 4 teams were able to proceed to the final round. The four teams came from Universitas Airlangga, University of Indonesia, Parahyangan University, and Trisakti University. In the final round, each team was required to complete the given case study and then present it to the judges. There was a question and answer session with the judges. After the case study presentation session and the judges' assessment were completed, the result was that the team from Universitas Airlangga won 3rd place in the Prasetiya Mulya Accounting Festival which was included in the ASA Festival 2020 series of events.
