Upgrading BEM FEB UNAIR is one of the work programs held routinely once a year. This activity aims to provide organizational training and shape characters within an organization. With this upgrading, it is hoped that all levels included in the organization's management can understand, comprehend and be able to carry out their duties and obligations during the management period without any obstacles. This activity was held at Villa Panorama Pacet, Mojokerto and took place from February 21 to 23, 2020. Starting on Friday afternoon and ending on Sunday afternoon. This event was attended by 125 BEM FEB Unair administrators of the 2020 Transformation Cabinet.
The program began with a gathering at around 3:00 PM WIB after Asr prayers on the grounds of Universitas Airlangga Master of Management program before departing for the villa in vehicles provided by the committee. The opening ceremony was marked by remarks from the Head of the Faculty of Economics and Business Student Executive Board (BEM FEB).
After the opening ceremony, all participants and committee members had dinner, followed by a bonding session between the management and their respective departments. All departments were free to gather and share ideas. The event began at 8:00 PM WIB and concluded at 10:30 PM WIB. Afterward, all participants were invited to take a break.
The next day, at 06.00 WIB, it began with morning exercises followed by all participants. After that, breakfast provided by the villa was followed by participants being invited to clean themselves. After that, at 08.30 WIB to 11.30 WIB, it was continued with games that had been prepared by the committee. Next, all participants cleaned themselves, prayed together and had lunch. From 13.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB, it was filled with Leadership and Organization material delivered by the Staff of the Deputy Dean I, Mr. M. Khoerul Mubin SEMSc., in the material there were several materials about family, organizational management, and others. The second game was held after the material had been delivered. After the games, participants were allowed to clean themselves, pray, and have dinner which would later be followed by the inauguration per group. This inauguration itself featured several performances that had been determined by the committee. This activity ended at 21.00 WIB.
The final day of the upgrading was filled with introductions from the BPH to help the administrators get to know each other better. Saad, the head of the FEB Student Executive Board, introduced the slogan for the transformation cabinet. At 11:00 a.m. WIB, the upgrading activities officially concluded and proceeded according to the schedule. Afterward, participants were allowed to pack and prepare to go home.
