The “Surabaya Has a Story Book Review” event was held on May 2, 2019, at the Soepoyo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. This event was the opening of the “2019 Reading Garden” activity which will be held once a week starting from the end of August, September, October, November 2019. This Reading Garden is a place that provides books that can be read for free, and contains a collection of books that can improve critical thinking and broaden the horizons of FEB UNAIR students.
The purpose of the Reading Park activity is to foster interest and literacy culture among FEB UNAIR students, broaden FEB UNAIR students' references in studying an issue, and increase the sense of nationalism among FEB UNAIR students as the nation's next generation.
