Cabinet Room program , organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (BEM FEB UNAIR), aims to improve organizational skills and human resource development among BEM FEB UNAIR administrators. This program provides training that focuses not only on developing technical skills but also on interpersonal and family aspects among members. RUBIK offers training sessions designed to prepare administrators to face problems that may arise during their term of office, as well as equip them with skills in managing organizational dynamics.
One of RUBIK's main activities is a talk show featuring expert speakers on the topics of self-awareness and work-life balance. Through this session, it is hoped that administrators will gain a better understanding of the importance of work-life balance, as well as how to maintain self-motivation within the organization. Thus, RUBIK aims to strengthen a sense of community, enhance collaboration, and create an environment that supports the personal and professional development of administrators.
The Cabinet Room activities support several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 – Quality Education, by providing training to improve the skills of administrators in managing organizations. RUBIK also contributes to SDG 5 – Gender Equality, by ensuring equal participation for all members in activities and decision-making. In addition, this activity supports SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, by providing skills that improve professional organizational management. RUBIK also supports SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by strengthening transparent and fair leadership capacity. The purpose of this activity is for BEM FEB UNAIR functionaries to carry out their duties well, creating an active, solid organization that has a positive impact on the university and society.
The target of this activity is all BEM FEB UNAIR functionaries for the 2025 period. RUBIK will be held on May 8, 2025, at the Soepoyo Hall, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. The success indicators of this activity are the involvement of 150 participants, the smooth running of the event as a whole, and the fulfillment of the appropriate budget, even if possible, generating a surplus that will later be allocated to other PSDM Department work programs.
