Majalengka (Kastrat Economic Magazine) is a new work program from the Department of Strategic Studies and Action of BEM FEB UNAIR 2023. This work program takes the form of a comprehensive and detailed study of economic issues that will then provide recommendations on the issues raised. This magazine will be published at the end of the 2023 BEM FEB UNAIR management period and its contents are a compilation of several chapters that have previously been published periodically through BEM FEB UNAIR's Instagram.

Through this work program, we want to highlight that through policy recommendations resulting from a comprehensive study of economic issues, they are able to align with the SDGs goals. This year, Majalengka carries the main theme "Gig Economy as a Driving Force of the Indonesian Economy" where issues related to freelance workers will be comprehensively studied, such as the quality of labor in the gig economy, labor competition, the joys and sorrows of the gig economy, and others, to then produce appropriate policy recommendations related to these issues. Thus, it is hoped that these policy recommendations can be implemented well and useful to help create more decent work and support inclusive economic growth (SDG 8), end poverty everywhere and in all its forms (SDG 1), and contribute to efforts to reduce inequality (SDG 10).
