The Department of Strategic Studies and Action of BEM FEB UNAIR has held an Intellectual Casual Discussion
with the theme "Students in the Whirlwind of the Presidential Election: Fanaticism or Apathy?" on Tuesday,
March 26, 2019 at the Tirto Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . The event
took place from 12:30-15:30 WIB. In its implementation, the event ran smoothly
with a total of 40 participants and presented speakers, namely Mrs. Nur Elya
Anggraini, S.Sos., M.Si as the Coordinator of the Public Relations and Hubal Division of Bawaslu East Java, Mr. Rudy Hartono
as a senior editor of Harian Surya and Mr. Rumayya, SE, M.Reg.Dev., Ph.D as a lecturer at the Faculty of
Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . This Intellectual Casual Discussion activity aims to
educate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business in facing the 2019 Presidential Election.

the presence of representatives from Bawaslu Jatim, students can open their insights regarding information
about the election, while representatives of Harian Surya can provide enlightenment on how
to counter hoax issues surrounding the election, and finally, FEB lecturers, can guide
students' thinking from an economic perspective.
