ENGLISH DEVELOPMENT, or EDEV, is an event focused on providing training to develop English language skills. The main activity is the ELPT test, which measures participants' English skills. A talk show is also held to increase student interest in English.

The E-DEV Program of the Science Department of BEM FEB UNAIR plays an important role in achieving the 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs), namely Quality Education. English Development activities present quality speakers who can provide new knowledge to students about English skills, provide training in the form of Workshops, and ELPT tests as the main parameters. English is currently one of the important points in facing the modern world and limitless globalization. Even in the world of education, there are many institutions that provide scholarships to students and must include English test certification, because students who are proficient in English are certainly considered to be more adaptable to the current conditions of globalization. In achieving the objectives of the E-DEV work program, the point of the 17th Quality Development Goal (SDGs), namely Partnership. We need to establish relationships with other student organizations (Media Partners) such as HIMA and external promotional media to reach a wider audience and promote the E-DEV work program so that it is better known by many students and the general public.
