Career Week

Career Week is a series of work programs from the Department of Professional Development aimed at developing soft skills and preparing students of the Faculty of Economics and Business after completing their education at Universitas Airlangga . In Career Week there will be several sub-activities, consisting of Talkshow, CV Review, Career Consulting, Job Fair, and Walk-In Interview.
Career Week is present as a forum for students to gain in-depth insights into the world of work and increase their readiness to face professional challenges. Through various activities that have been designed, participants will have the opportunity to meet directly with professionals and practitioners from various industries, get direct advice on career development, and explore job opportunities that suit their interests and skills.

Career Week aligns with several points of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely:

1. SDG 4: Quality Education – Career Week contributes to improving the quality of education through soft skills development, career preparation training, and providing insights into the world of work for students.
2. SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – With activities such as Job Fairs, Walk-In Interviews, and Career Consulting, Career Week helps students find decent employment opportunities and encourages economic growth by improving the readiness of the young workforce.
3. SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Career Week involves collaboration with various companies,
institutions, and professionals who play a role in supporting student career development, reflecting the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals.
