FEB UNAIR men's basketball team managed to get their first win this year. For one week they successfully fought to bring FEB UNAIR's name to soar even higher in the 2025 FISIP UI League event.
FISIP UI League itself is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. This event took place from May 3, 2025 to May 10, 2025 at the national level. More than 10 participants from several faculties in each different university throughout Indonesia participated in this competition, from Makassar to Surabaya.
This certainly did not dampen the enthusiasm of the FEB UNAIR basketball team players in competing. Match after match was passed with slick games given by 12 proud names of the FEB UNAIR Basketball Team which finally succeeded in bringing them to qualify for the semifinals. Although in the end the FEB UNAIR Basketball Team had to admit the superiority of its opponent in the semifinals, namely FEB PERBANAS, this did not make the FEB UNAIR Basketball Team lose their spirit. They still have to fight for the 3rd place podium against FKIK UKSW. With high enthusiasm and motivation, the FEB UNAIR Basketball Team managed to present a slick game throughout the match for 3rd place against FKIK UKSW. Point after point was added until the final whistle blew which made the FEB UNAIR Basketball Team far ahead and brought home the 3rd Place trophy from the 2025 FISIP UI LEAGUE event. This victory is expected to be a good first step for the FEB UNAIR Men's Basketball Team to be able to achieve even more achievements in 2025.
