Webinar Series #2 : Finding Research Ideas with Research Mapping

On March 11, 2023, the Accounting Student Association (HIMA) PDIA Universitas Airlangga held a research workshop on the theme of "Discovering Research Ideas with Mapping Research." Twenty-seven students and practitioners enthusiastically attended the workshop. The main speaker was Mr. Fajar Oditama, a 2022 graduate of the doctoral program in accounting Universitas Airlangga.

The issue of research ideas is crucial for accounting students, given their obligation to publish articles in international journals and submit dissertations. Research Mapping can facilitate students' exploration of research ideas from a variety of international journals. Furthermore, Research Mapping is now facilitated by various software programs such as Mendeley and VosViewer. It is hoped that this activity will help students more easily explore accounting research trends from the past to future projections.
