On 9-10 August 2024, the Student Association of the Doctoral Sciences Program (HIMA PDIA) Universitas Airlangga held the Community Service (PKM) International at the Miendrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. The event was attended by 63 high school/vocational teachers who teach accounting and several students from Afghanistan. The theme carried is accounting training using the Accurate application, which is designed to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) goals 4 and 7 points.
SDGs point 4 emphasizes the importance of inclusive and equitable quality education, while point 7 focuses on affordable and clean energy access. In this context, the training given not only aims to improve the skills of teachers in accounting teaching, but also introduce environmentally friendly and energy -efficient technology through the use of accurate applications. Thus, this event not only contributes to improving the quality of education, but also supports the use of technology that supports sustainability.
This event was opened by Prof. Noorlaile Soewarno as Chairperson of PDIA Universitas Airlangga and Prof. Sri Iswati as an advisor to Hima PDIA Universitas Airlangga. Both of them expressed their appreciation for the implementation of this event as a tangible manifestation of the contribution of Hima PDIA Universitas Airlangga to the community, as well as appreciating the enthusiasm of the participants. It is hoped that PKM events like this can continue to be carried out in a sustainable manner in the future, to have a broader impact in supporting the achievement of SDGs at Universitas Airlangga.
