Training on finding ideas for final assignments for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business is crucial for promoting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, namely "Quality Education." Here are some reasons why this training is necessary:
1. Encouraging Creativity and Innovation: The final project requirement for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business is to produce a work that combines economic theory with practical applications in a real-world context. Through training, students are encouraged to explore new and innovative ideas that can be applied in their research, such as developing new economic models or sustainable business strategies.
2. Improving the Quality of the Final Project: One of the final project requirements for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business is to present an in-depth analysis and relevant solutions to the economic problems they face. Through training, students can receive input and suggestions from their peers and lecturers to improve the quality of their final project, both in terms of research methodology and the substance of the theme.
3. Increasing SDGs Awareness: Although not always explicitly stated, the final project for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business can be directed towards finding sustainable solutions to economic and social problems. Training can help students better understand the importance of the SDGs, especially SDG point 4, and integrate the principles of sustainable development into their final project.
4. Skills Development: The final project requirement for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business includes developing analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Training can provide opportunities for students to hone these skills through discussions, presentations, and collaboration with their peers in developing ideas for their final projects.
5. Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Final projects for students in the Faculty of Economics and Business often involve cross-disciplinary research or the integration of concepts from various fields such as economics, management, and finance. By holding training, students can collaborate with students from other disciplines to produce more comprehensive and sustainable solutions to complex problems related to economic development and education.
Considering the importance of training in developing final project ideas, the Accounting Doctoral Student Association (HIMA PDIA) Universitas Airlangga held a sharing session during Ramadan which was packaged in a relaxed and lighthearted manner with the theme Ngabuburit Riset 2.0. The main objective of this activity was to help students in the Faculty of Economics develop research ideas for their final projects.
This event is open to the public, not only Airlangga University students but also everyone. Please join us.
