Feb Unar's IftarThe Charity Ramadhan Project, initiated by the Partnership Division of the Master of Accounting Student Association (HMMA) Universitas Airlangga , in collaboration with Seribu Senyum (A Thousand Smiles), is highly relevant to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
While the program directly focuses on providing Eid al-Fitr treats (THR) to orphans, its indirect impact can contribute to the achievement of SDG 4. Through this specific assistance, children are given a sense of confidence and happiness, important factors in supporting their participation in school and other educational activities. Feeling appreciated and supported by the community can increase their motivation to excel in academics.
The program also demonstrates how community involvement and collaboration can drive local economic growth. By purchasing Eid clothes from local vendors, this activity can provide a small economic stimulus to the local community, support small and medium enterprises, and encourage decent work in the surrounding area.
The partnership between HMMA and Seribu Senyum in implementing the Charity Ramadhan Project is a concrete example of SDG 17. This partnership strengthens the capacity of both organizations to create significant social impact, demonstrating how collaboration between organizations can help in achieving broader goals for the welfare of society. Initiatives such as this emphasize the importance of synergy between various stakeholders in realizing sustainable development.
The Charity Ramadhan Project is not only a tangible manifestation of social care and solidarity, but also a contribution to the achievement of the SDGs. Through this program, HMMA and Seribu Senyum not only provide direct assistance to children in need but also strengthen the collective commitment to sustainable development through education, economic growth, and partnerships.
