hmma feb unair 2023Action is an annual activity for new students of the Master of Accounting (MAKAS) in order to strengthen the kinship and establish solidarity, with a sense of kinship and togetherness held by the Association of Master of Accounting Masters (HMMA) Universitas Airlangga. Through the Human Quality Development division that has a vision to develop the quality of superior human resources, Action 1.0 comes with the aim of providing opportunities for students to get to know and understand the administrative system and academic Master of Accounting at Universitas Airlangga.

The event will be held offline with an outbound concept that seeks to encourage student awareness on the environment and have a positive impact on nature. Carrying the theme "Green Earth: Local Action, Global Impact", the activity will be carried out at the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism. The main objective in this activity is to strive to increase environmental awareness among students, understand environmental issues, and build awareness of nature and as a practical education container to provide knowledge about sustainability and environmental preservation in accordance with the concept of SDG number 13 (Climate Action) and 15 (life on land). This supports indicators 13.3.3 regarding participation and action plans for disasters and indicators 13.3.4 that inform and support the city government in handling disasters due to climate change, as well as indicators 15.2.5 regarding educational and dedication programs on sustainable land management for tourism and 15.3.5 that collaborate with local communities to manage joint ecosystem land.

Thus, students are expected to be able to bring these sustainability values ​​into daily life, both during their study period and after graduating from the Master of Accounting program. With this series of objectives, HMMA hopes that action activities not only provide valuable experiences but also create a positive impact on environmental awareness and action among students.
