Students are at the forefront of driving the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia. As agents of change, students are not only required to excel academically but also to be able to make real contributions through creative and innovative ideas that benefit society. In line with this spirit, the Islamic Economics Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (HIMA EKIS FEB UNAIR) once again presents IQTISHODUNA 2025, an annual program that serves as a space for academic da'wah and a medium for strengthening student intellect, creativity, and collaboration.
Carrying the theme “Amplifying Islamic Economics Through Ideas and Narratives”, IQTISHODUNA 2025 comes with a fresher and more adaptive series of events, which are divided into three main sub-competitions, namely:
EKSPRESI (Islamic Economics Intellectual Achievement)
A competition consisting of the Islamic Economics Olympiad for high school/equivalent and the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) for university students. This activity aims to improve the academic, research, and critical thinking skills of the younger generation in facing the latest issues of Islamic economics.
Ekis Insight (EKISIGHT)
A digital literacy program in the form of podcasts, short videos, and educational content through various social media platforms that disseminate Islamic economic insights in an interesting, light, and relevant way to current developments.
National Seminar
The peak event that closes the series, presents Islamic economics experts and practitioners to discuss strategic issues and strengthen the role of Islamic Economics in facing global challenges and opportunities towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
The implementation of IQTISHODUNA 2025 will be held for two days offline on October 30-31, 2025, at the Fadjar Hall of FEB UNAIR. The first day will be filled with a series of Olympiad Semifinals and KTI Finals. The second day will be the culmination of activities with the implementation of the Olympiad Finals and an Inspirational Seminar and Talkshow, which will conclude with an Awarding and the official closing of the event. Through this program innovation, IQTISHODUNA 2025 not only functions as an academic competition, but also as a collaborative movement that strengthens the existence of Islamic economics in the intellectual, social, and digital realms.
