Safari Islamic Economics or Sei is a work program of the Prncom Ormawa ACSS FEB Division Universitas Airlangga which aims to educate and disseminate knowledge about Islamic economics to the younger generation, especially high school students. This activity was held at the Al-Hikam Burneh Islamic Boarding School, Bangkalan, Madura which also provided high school equivalent education. In the Sei event, the participants will get an in-depth understanding of the principles of Islamic economics, their implementation in daily life, as well as the advantages of Islamic economics compared to the conventional economic system. Various interactive sessions such as lectures, discussions, case studies, and educational games will be presented to help participants more easily digest the material. The Sei event series is expected to inspire and motivate participants to start applying the principles of Islamic economics in their economic activities in the future. In addition, with the holding of the boarding school environment, it is hoped that the participants can learn comprehensively about the teachings of Islam as well as sharia economics.
The implementation of the SEI event is in line with the Sustainable Development Objectives (SDGs) Number 4, namely quality education, where participants get new education and knowledge about Islamic economics. This activity is also a form of collaboration between various parties such as Ormawa Access, Islamic Boarding Schools, and resource persons in accordance with the spirit of SDGs Number 17 to build partnerships in achieving common goals. Through the Sei event, it is expected to foster the interest and awareness of the younger generation of the importance of applying the principles of Islamic economics in economic activities as rahmatan lil alamin which brings benefit to all humanity.
