PRESS RELEASE
Routine training is one of the work programs of the Deputy for Arts and Sports of the SEGA Division. These routine training activities are carried out in two forms: offline and online with different timelines. Offline activities include: routine training in basketball, futsal, badminton, and table tennis, as well as in the arts branch, namely band/acoustic. Meanwhile, the routine online training activity is the Mobile Legends branch. These routine training activities were held due to the high interest of Islamic Economics students in these fields.
Latrut also involves providing sports education through social media content. This Routine Training Program is open to all Islamic Economics students and interested classes. Participation in Latrut involves a fee for field rental. This program, organized by the Sega Division, is expected to encourage Islamic Economics students to develop their interests and talents.
This Latrut is related to point 4 of the SDGs because the Routine Training at Universitas Airlangga Islamic Economics Study Program is inclusive and easily accessible for all students, this Latrut provides a means for students to develop their talents and interests, as well as being a training ground to prepare for various competitions, one of which is by holding a friendly match (Sparing) with other departments to hone the abilities of the ekis team to achieve their potential in non-academic fields, as well as to prepare human resources for competitions outside the Department.
This activity was carried out from March 22nd to November 3rd. Related to the goal of Quality Education mandated by Point 4 of the SDGs, this program is not only about providing facilities and infrastructure, but also about providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and potential in non-academic fields. Thus, the Routine Training program at Universitas Airlangga not only serves as a training ground, but also as a vehicle to prepare students to compete at a higher level, both within and outside their majors.
