Research Camp is an activity organized by the Islamic Economics Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga as an intensive program designed to improve students' ability to write scientific papers.

This program aims to strengthen students' academic quality through in-depth training in research methods and scientific writing techniques. Over the two days of implementation, participants will learn various aspects of research, both quantitative and qualitative, including data processing, which is expected to provide important provisions for writing theses and other scientific papers. In 2025, the theme for the Research Camp will be: " Strengthening Foundations to Build Meaningful Research ."

This event will be held online through the Zoom Meeting platform with no participation fee. It is scheduled for October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:25 PM WIB and October 19, 2025, from 9:40 AM to 1:50 PM WIB. The webinar will feature lecturers with expertise in thesis guidance who will present material related to thesis writing and a question-and-answer session with participants.

Through this activity, students not only acquire skills relevant to academic development but also prepare to face the ever-evolving dynamics of the educational world. Research Camp serves as a platform for honing participants' critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. Furthermore, interactions with experienced speakers and student-to-student discussions provide valuable tools for broadening their horizons and deepening their understanding of the world of research.

This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly point 4 on Quality Education. By fostering interest in research and scientific writing, the Research Camp contributes to producing human resources with extensive knowledge, high innovation, and the ability to provide solutions to various global problems.
