Islamic Social Finance Pandemic Crisis And Possible Solutions (ISFPCPS) 2020 is an international conference held on September 29-30, 2020. The event took place in neighboring Malaysia, precisely at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). However, due to conditions that did not allow, the event continued even though it used electronic means, namely zoom. There are several stages to follow the event procedure, starting from abstract submission, full paper submission, to presentation. The target activity for the event includes Islamic Economics academics and students. Its presence is expected to provide new insights into problems and solutions that can be realized in the short and long term to reduce the impact felt due to COVID-19. Thus, the goal of the forum is to provide many suggestions and input related to the problems of a country, even some affected countries, especially in the economic sector, namely through Islamic Social Finance.
Furthermore, based on our strong intentions and determination, we contributed to the event. Our team consists of 3 people, namely Firdayanti Zahro, Mar'atus Sholikha, Asep Maulana. Talking about the paper we proposed, we are struggling in the field of one of the sub-topics provided, namely sukuk with the title "Blue Sukuk As A Solution Maritime Economy Crisis Due To Global Covid Pandemic." The potential of blue sukuk is a new breakthrough offered by Islamic finance as a long-term mitigation of maritime economic problems, especially in Indonesia. Alhamdulillah fi amanillah, we were entrusted as the "best paper" at the event and the paper we have collected will be published in the "IIUM Islamic Finance journal." Hopefully it will be a good start for all of us to process. Happy processing.
