IQTISHODUNA 2022: The Road Towards Digitalization
Iqtishoduna is the actualization of the Islamic Economics Students' initiative, initiated by the Islamic Economics Students Association, to strive for success and contribute to the development of Islamic economics. It also aims to spread Islamic economics to all levels of society, through a series of events designed to enable people of all backgrounds to learn about and contribute to the development of Islamic economics.
Iqtishoduna 2022, a national-scale event, carries the grand theme "Sharia Economy: The Road Towards Digitalization" and showcases various transformations across its series of events to achieve more optimal outcomes. The main goal of SEO is to introduce Islamic economics to the general public, especially students. The iSlamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) will run from June 17 to October 2022 using a hybrid system. This activity is free of charge, and each team consists of two active students from the same school. The iSlamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) will also host roadshows and tryouts.
- The Airlangga Iqtishoduna Call for Papers and Business Cases (AICB) is a hybrid sub-event held from June 6 to October 2022, focusing on writing and reasoning, targeting active undergraduate and graduate students at various universities across Indonesia. This sub-event consists of two competitions: Call for Papers and Business Cases, with each team consisting of a maximum of three people. There is a registration fee for this event.
- The Airlangga Iqtishoduna Sharia Festival (AISF), the highlight of the Iqtishoduna event, will feature a talk show with competent and experienced speakers, an exhibition featuring Sharia products and businesses, and various Islamic cultural competitions. This sub-event, held offline on October 30, 2022, at The Square Ballroom, ICBC Center, Surabaya, aims to provide the general public with a deeper understanding of Islamic economics from various perspectives, and is free of charge.
This event is related to the optimization of SDGs number 4, namely Quality Education by presenting various competitions and skill development media, especially reasoning and writing that reach all young generations, starting from high school/vocational high school/Islamic high school students to active undergraduate/diploma students with the holding of the Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) and Airlangga Iqtishoduna Call for Paper and Business Case (AICB). Airlangga Iqtishoduna Sharia Festival (AISF) also participates in optimizing SDGs number 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth by providing sharia product and business tenants that can indirectly encourage and support existing partnerships more effectively for economic growth, especially Islamic Economics.
