EKIS INTERNAL CUP 2022

Feb Unair Open Ekis Cup

Feb Unair Open Ekis CupThe ECI (Ekis Cup Internal) is a sports competition held by the Arts and Sports Division of the Islamic Economics Student Association (HIMAI) to foster
student interest and talent in non-academic fields. The development of the arts and sports world among Universitas Airlangga has generally shown quite satisfactory progress. Potential young talents have begun to emerge along with the development of the arts and sports world. This is inseparable from the participation of several parties who provide support and space for students to actualize their creativity and sportsmanship in tournaments/competitions. Therefore, to realize this potential, we believe that students need a space to channel their talents. Therefore,
there is a need for concrete activities that can inspire enthusiasm and active, productive, and educational collaboration to foster a sense of togetherness. However, amidst the current pandemic, it seems impossible for us to hold all activities face-to-face on the field as before. Therefore, we intend to hold an offline competition. The competitions held in the sports categories are futsal, basketball, badminton, and then the E-sports category includes Pro Evolution Soccer, ML, and PUBG among students majoring in Islamic Economics.
This is expected to foster a competitive spirit, thereby developing their creativity and sportsmanship, and can further strengthen relationships between classes in the Islamic Economics department.
