The development of sports among Universitas Airlangga students has generally seen quite satisfactory progress. Potential young talents have begun to emerge alongside the development of the sporting world. This is inseparable from the role of several parties who provide support and space for students to actualize their creativity and sportsmanship in tournaments. Furthermore, the euphoria of tournaments or competitions can also inspire youth enthusiasm, especially in the world of sports, thus providing a means for students to enliven the atmosphere by participating and supporting competing teams.
Thus, to realize this, we believe that the potential that has been possessed requires a space for students to be able to channel their talents. Therefore, there is a need for real activities that can arouse enthusiasm and active, productive and educational cooperation to create a sense of togetherness. With the Internal Ekis Cup, it can be a forum for Islamic Economics students who are expected to be able to raise the fighting spirit of young people in developing their talents in the field of sports. Therefore, we intend to hold an offline competition. The competitions held in the sports category are futsal and basketball which are planned to be held at SMAMDA and CLS Sports Halls, badminton and table tennis at IKOMA FEB UNAIR and billiards at Rays Cozy. Then the E-sport category, namely Mobile Legends and FIFA, which will be held online on the zoom meeting platform between students majoring in Islamic Economics on November 8 - November 23, 2025. Thus, it is hoped that it can foster a competitive spirit so that it can develop their creativity and sportsmanship and can further strengthen the relationship between classes in the Islamic Economics Department.
This event aligns with SDGs point 4, namely quality education, as it can serve as a platform for human resource development in event management and as a platform for enhancing non-academic skills. It also aligns with SDG point 17, namely partnerships to achieve goals, as successful collaboration with several partners (companies) is required to achieve the event's objectives.
