The external Dialectics (Dialectics) Economic Dialogue is an annual event held twice by the Islamic Economic Student Association Universitas Airlangga . This event has the goal of a discussion forum in order to discuss contemporary issues of Islamic economics to grow, adapt, and socialize the Islamic economy more broadly. In 2025, the theme that will be raised at the first external Bakti Academic Economic Dialogue event (Dialectics) is: Building a Sustainable Future of Sharia Economy: National Potential and Strategic Role of Generation Z.
This event is held online through the Zoom Meeting without any tariffs charged, and will be held on June 11, 2025 from 09.00 to 11.00 WIB. The speakers on the webinar this time are speakers from external parties related to the themes submitted, namely KNEKS.
This event is related to SDGs No. 8, 9, 17, where the relevance of SDGs No. 8 namely the decent work and economic growth is reflected by the ultimate goal of the dialectical program, which is to encourage the achievement of the national economic resilience program, through education media that fosters the spirit of young generation in developing Islamic economic potential in Indonesia. Furthermore, the relevance of SDGs No. 9, namely industry, innovation, and infrastructure, is described in the core of the dialectics which will later give advice to the participants to be wiser in spending their wealth, by directing it to the realm of Islamic companies, so that the halal and sharia industry will grow. While the relevance of SDGs No. 17 namely Partnership for the Goals, is found in the great hopes of the dialectical event, namely inviting all Islamic economic fighters to form collective partnerships and cooperation in order to achieve greater positive results, when compared to working independently.
Therefore, we initiated to invite speakers from the KNEks, bearing in mind that their central role as a government institution that holds a major function in national economic and financial development. So that later the worldview presented can be more comprehensive and relevant to the situation of the development of the Indonesian economy and the world.
With the holding of this dialectical activity, it is hoped that all participants can have a deeper understanding of the ins and outs of Islamic economics, and can implement various important values in it in everyday life, so that in the future it will be able to encourage economic growth and Islamic finance, for the achievement of the national economic security program.
