EXPECTANICA 2022

EXPECTANICA

Ekspectanica is a program of the arts and sports division of the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga for the 2022 term. This event is a combination of previous events, the External Ekis Cup and Ekis Got Talent. This year, the two events were combined into a single event titled "Ekspectanica," with an additional sub-event, the Ekis Film Photography Festival.

The External Ekis Cup is a sub-event of Ekspectanica. The External Ekis Cup, commonly referred to as ECE, is a national competition for high schools (SMA/MA/MK) and equivalent, covering all regions in Indonesia, particularly East Java. This year's External Ekis Cup will feature four competitions: Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, basketball, and futsal. The Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile competitions will be held online, while the basketball and futsal competitions will be held offline. The External Ekis Cup will be held from August 30 to September 11, 2022.

Ekis Got Talent (EGT) is a band competition for high school (SMA), Islamic high school (MA), and Islamic high school (MK) students. Ekis Got Talent will be held in two rounds: an online preliminary round and an in-person semifinal and final round. The semifinal round will be held on September 17, 2022

The Ekis Film Photography Festival (EF3) is a national competition for high school (SMA/MA/MK) students and equivalent, covering all regions in Indonesia, particularly East Java. The preliminary round will be held online, with the top 10 films screened offline. The screening will also feature an exhibition of all participants' photography. The offline screening will take place on September 24, 2022.

At Ekspectanica, there will also be a community service event as a demonstration of our concern for the environment. The community service program will be divided into two sections: "Breakfast is Important," which involves sharing breakfast with the general public, especially daily wage laborers, and "Friends of the Earth," which aims to reduce plastic waste by creating a movement where three pieces of plastic can be exchanged for bottled milk and bread.

The primary goal of this event is to introduce Islamic economics to the general public through arts and sports activities. It is hoped that this event will produce competition champions with an interest in Islamic economics. This event is related to SDG 4, namely quality education, as it fosters non-academic skills and hobbies.
