EKIS INTERNAL CUP 2022

EKIS INTERNAL CUP 2022

The ECI (Ekis Cup Internal) is a sports competition held by the Arts and Sports Division of the Islamic Economics Student Association (HIMAI) to foster student interest and talent in non-academic fields. The development of the arts and sports world among Universitas Airlangga students has generally seen quite satisfactory growth. Potential and young talent have begun to emerge along with the development of the arts and sports world. This is inseparable from the role of several parties who provide support and space for students to actualize their creativity and sportsmanship in a tournament/competition.

Therefore, to realize this goal, we believe that students' potential requires a space to channel their talents. Therefore, concrete activities are needed that can inspire enthusiasm and foster active, productive, and educational collaboration to foster a sense of togetherness. However, amidst the current pandemic, it seems impossible to hold all activities face-to-face on the field as before. Therefore, we intend to hold an offline competition. The sports categories include futsal, basketball, and badminton, and the e-sports category includes Pro Evolution Soccer, ML, and PUBG among students majoring in Islamic Economics. This is expected to foster a competitive spirit, foster creativity and sportsmanship, and further strengthen ties between classes within the Islamic Economics department.

This event, aimed at all students of the Islamic Economics study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga will be held from October 30 to November 19, 2022. It will consist of offline e-sports competitions in Pro Evolution Soccer, Mobile Legends, and PUBG, as well as sports competitions in futsal, basketball, and badminton. This event will serve as a platform for Islamic Economics students to develop their creativity and sportsmanship to enhance their achievements in the arts and sports.

In addition, this activity was attended by active students of Islamic Economics. This event is related to SDGs number 4, namely quality education because it educates to improve non-academic skills and hobbies.
