EKIS GOES TO THE VILLAGE: Elaboration of the development and utilization of natural resources and human resources in Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, Jombang, East Java

EGD, or Ekis Goes to Desa, is a program of the Islamic economics student association focused on village service. Ekis Goes to Desa is held to fulfill the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The theme is "Elaborating on the development and utilization of natural and human resources in Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, Jombang, East Java, in the areas of health, education, environment, and economy, to increase sociopreneurship and environmental awareness." 

Through this activity, the committee contributes directly to the community of Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, specifically by building and developing the village's potential, including economic, educational, environmental, and health sectors. All activities will be held offline, while maintaining health protocols. The 2022 EGD will be held in Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, Jombang, East Java, from July 20-24, 2022. 

This activity is related to SDG number 3, namely a healthy and prosperous life, because the goal of this activity is to create a healthy and prosperous village environment. Furthermore, this activity is related to SDG number 17, namely partnerships to achieve goals, because in this activity, we, as students majoring in Islamic economics, are partnering with the village government for village development.
