The External Academic Service Economic Dialogue (Dialectics) is an annual event held twice by the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga. The event aims to provide a discussion forum for contemporary issues in Islamic economics, with the aim of fostering, adapting, and disseminating Islamic economics more broadly. In 2023, the theme for the first External Academic Service Economic Dialogue (Dialectics) will be "Developing the Regional Halal Industry Amidst Regional Budget Constraints."

This event will be held online via Zoom Meeting without any fees and will be held on May 28, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM WIB. The resource person for this webinar will be an external speaker related to the proposed theme, namely KNEKS. This event is related to SDGs numbers 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 17. Therefore, we invited a speaker from KNEKS because the development of the halal industry sector is one of the master plans for sharia economic development and its realization is implemented through regular and strategic programs from KNEKS to achieve the SDGs.
It is hoped that the participation of participants in this activity will increase awareness of contemporary issues and innovations in Islamic economics related to the potential, schemes, and operational funding, especially blended financing in Islamic economics to develop the halal industry amidst the limitations of the regional budget.
