2018 Academic Development Program

Learning activities in lectures continue to evolve each year, from the development of theories taught, the weight of questions, to the minimum grade standards that must be achieved. Therefore, student support is needed so that the learning process does not stop at lecture hours. In this regard, the academic division of the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga has created a support program called "PPA," or the Academic Improvement Program. This program assists active Islamic Economics students Universitas Airlangga by providing assistance and supporting modules. It is hoped that the continuously improving lecture standards each year can be balanced by improvements in students' academic abilities.

Assistance is one of the PPA's activities. This regular assistance program is intended to support Islamic Economics students' lectures. This program is held routinely three times a week, covering three courses for first-semester and third-semester students. With this assistance, Islamic Economics students are expected to benefit from easier learning outside of class hours.

The Student Learning Module is a sub-program of the PPA (Academic Development Program) of the 2018 Islamic Economics Student Association's Scientific Division. The Student Learning Module contains a summary of the material from all courses given to students. The purpose of this Learning Module is to provide a forum for student academic development and as a learning medium in addition to lecture textbooks. The student learning module is structured in two periods, namely pre-midterm exam (UTS) and pre-final exam (UAS). All members of the scientific division are involved in compiling the Student Learning Module.

For students who are on the two- and four-year study evaluation list due to not meeting the semester credit system (SKS) or the cumulative grade point average (GPA) threshold, the academic division provides assistance called CDO (Candidate Drop Out). We provide assistance in courses that the student finds difficult and provide brief counseling until the student is released from the CDO status.
