The Accounting Internal Competition (AIC) is a platform for Universitas Airlangga Accounting students to develop various cognitive and affective aspects. In this technological era, human resources are needed that possess both soft and hard skills. The AIC demands the development of both skills often overlooked by the current generation: teamwork and honesty. It is hoped that through the AIC, all participants will be able to compete competitively while maintaining honesty.

In 2020, the AIC was held online for the first time. As is known, this was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as a form of support for the government's efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing and working from home. This online AIC is expected to remain a forum for all Universitas Airlangga Accounting students in general and specifically for the 2019 and 2018 intakes to continue developing their accounting skills. This online AIC also serves as a form of adaptation to less favorable circumstances. It is hoped that Universitas Airlangga Accounting students will continue to adapt to an unpredictable environment and certainly provide a new experience that is good to try.
