When choosing a profession as a future career, students need a thorough understanding of the chosen profession. This is the reason why the Undergraduate Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga held the 2022 Professional Review event. The Professional Review itself is a work program of the Undergraduate Accounting Student Association's Intellectual Division. 

This year's professional discussion carries the theme "Accountants in the midst of a global recession." There are 2 speakers from the Government Accounting profession and the East Java Economic Bureau Accounting.

The global economy is currently in a slump. It is reported that next year, in 2023, the entire world will experience an economic recession, exacerbated by rising global bank interest rates, COVID-19, the prolonged war between Ukraine and Russia, and several other factors. Accountants play a crucial role in addressing this economic crisis by providing financial information to stakeholders for accurate decision-making.
