Another proud achievement has been achieved by Roro, Rika, Ifti (2/2019) who went to Makassar State University as finalists in the paper and debate contest representing Universitas Airlangga after passing the paper selection with the theme "Accounting and the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0". After becoming finalists, along with 13 other teams, the presentation became the second stage that must be passed to be able to qualify for the debate stage of the contest, where the number of teams that passed was only 4 out of 14 other teams that had presented.

            As a team, the three of them tried to give their best, develop strategies, and when the time came for the announcement of the winners for the debate stage, the team from Universitas Airlangga obtained the second highest score, which entitled them to proceed to the final stage, to compete for the championship in this event.

            The motion debate also didn't allow for any preparation time, so the three of them tried to memorize the general material they knew to present in the debate. At the announcement, the UNAIR team was declared second place, taking it home to Surabaya. Hopefully, this achievement will bring pride to Universitas Airlangga, especially the Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
