Thesis Fighter with Cesgs 2025 is a routine agenda of accounting student association. Through the collaboration between the Accounting Student Association and Cesgs, it is hoped that it will be able to improve competence for students who follow this agenda in completing their final project. Thus, participants can achieve the goal of SDGs 8 points (decent work and economic growth) more effectively.
This event was in the form of a thesis training and research as many as 4 meetings
consisting of:
- Starting academic research
The discussion at this meeting is the initial stages in making thesis. The topics to be delivered include the academic research cycle, the selection of relevant research methodology, and the first step in preparing the thesis. This topic can help participants to find research ideas, research literature, review literature, hypotheses and methodologies that are relevant in the field of accounting. This topic can also develop students' critical mindset and encourage them to innovate. - The use of software in research
at the second meeting, participants will be introduced to a variety of software that can help their research. Later, participants will get to know more about SPSS, Mendeley, Zotero, Grammarly, as well as data management using Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. - Challenges In preparing thesis and how to overcome them
after focusing on the technical research, participants began to be introduced to the problems that occurred in the study. Problems discussed starting from the procrastination, the difficulty of finding references, research strategies, to discussing the technicals that are felt will cause difficulties for participants. Participants will also get solutions and motivation to solve existing difficulties. - The thesis Proposal Seminar Presentation Strategy
at the last meeting, the discussion focuses more on the thesis proposal seminar. Starting from how to prepare the material, compile the Salindia structure, how to confident when presentation, and how to deal with various questions that are unexpected and even beyond the discussion.
